The equestrian activity at Quinta do Falcão will be directed to all levels of riders, from those who are now starting their practice to the most experienced, counting on the consolidated knowledge of their resident instructor.
Located in Tomar, a historic town on the left bank of the River Nabão, a 20 minutes from the village of Golegã where the annual Lusitano mare and stallion inspections take place, the Golegã Horse Fair a unique worldwide Lusitano event.
You can book your own flights or leave that to an agent, either way. We will pass on your flight information to your hosts so they can arrange your pick-up & transfers accordingly. Although we can arrange for you to be picked up from the airport, we recommend taking a rental car so that you can get out and about, to the town of Tomar, which has a magnificent castle and the further surrounding area. It is also possible to take the train from Lisbon Airport to Santa Cita station, where your host can pick you up, where we need your arrival time.
You can be met at the airport and driven to the Quinta or opt for a rental car. From Lisbon to Quinta da Falcao in Tomar takes approximately one hour.
If you like train travel, it is also possible to go by train. From Lisbon Airport metro or cab to Sete Rios train station. There, both buses and trains run to Tomar (11 min from Quinta) or Santa Cita (5 min from Quinta). The train takes about two hours.
